Colabatory sneaker archive - A homage to sneaker culture, We archive the limited edition sneaker collaborations from global brands.
Founded in 1997 by Colette Rousseaux, Colette was a French high fashion, streetwear, & accessory retailer located in the heart of Paris.
The three floor (8,000 square feet) concept store contained an exhibition space, bookshop, and a "water bar" serving more than 100 brands of bottled water. Once described by Forbes as ‘The trendiest store in the world’ it closed in December 2017.
Colette was a place to hang out & a site of pilgrimage for the fashion crowd. Many will miss the presence of Colette. Not just as an influential Parisian boutique but cultural mecca & educational experience that constantly pushed the boundaries of the industry.
Colette was a master of collaborations and produced an astonishing array of the most sort after & hardest to acquire pieces.
