Brand Profile:
Recently celebrating their 30th Anniversary Hanon was founded by brothers Brian & Edward Toft.
Born out of a passion for skateboarding & street-wear, the roots of brand emerged from a makeshift shop at their parents’ house in the late 1980’s. To later selling products via a store called ‘Streethreds’ in their hometown of Elgin, North East of Scotland.
In 1993 they relocated to Aberdeen & transitioned to the name Hanon. Quickly establishing themselves as a destination for deadstock & hard to find sneakers as well as an eclectic mix of European & US street-wear brands.
As Hanon’s influence grew they became early pioneers in the filed of collaborations & are now globally recognised for their contribution to the culture.
Today Hanon are regarded by the international sneaker community for top quality footwear, footwear collaborations & their own apparel brand.
